How Do I Delete Something in My Control Panel?

Question by Bunnicula: How do I delete something in my Control Panel?
An adware self-titled as “Windows Security Center” got itself into my control panel. It doesn’t show itself in “Add/Remove Programs”, and I have no idea where all of its files are stored. How do I eradicate it completely?
I’m currently using Windows XP.

I did the search as suggested, and the results turn up the icons found in Control panel, a bunch in C:\Windows\system32, and a few in scattered places. Which ones do I delete?

I don’t remember where they are stored, do a search from the start menu for files named “*.cpl” Any file with this extension is one that shows up in Control Panel.
