Physical therapy IS a branch of medical science. MDs frequently refer patients to licensed PTs for muskuloskeletal concerns. For example, osteoarthritis patients undergo physical therapy for mobility and for pain control. This is also in addition to the pain medications their MDs give them. How can there be conflict?
