Question by Kegan M: Wii and Cerebral Palsy?
I have seen that this board can be used for the benefit of people with hemiplegic cerebral palsy, which affects one side of the body through a sort of paralyzed state.

I myself have spastic diplegia, which hinders my free-standing balance, leg strength, control, and straightness in walking.

My question is, if I were to purchase this item, would it still remain relatively accurate if I were to support myself somewhat with parallel bars? I have excellent upper body strength on my left side, and my right is only a little less toned (I figured the Wiimote alone could solve that issue with time, up my coordination, that sort of thing).

What do you all think, any therapists or doctors out there? I’d also gladly hear out any sort of athlete. It’d be nice to know that if physical therapy weren’t so dull, maybe I’d do it more ;) wouldn’t mind skiing either.

You would still be able to play on the wii board, but your weight and BMI would somewhat be inaccurate. Just play it and have fun !!
